Character development uses fundamental principles to build vital skills in young children. These skills are essential for discovering personal strengths, managing emotions, cultivating empathy, and establishing and nurturing healthy friendships. At its heart, our program is a proactive approach to teaching the skills that help children grow into productive adults capable of maintaining positive relationships and overall positive well-being. Below are the program’s five core competencies.
The ability to understand personal emotions, thoughts, values, strengths and weaknesses.
Goal: How to identify emotions and understand how emotions influence behavior and interactions with others
